Made from flash-spun high-density polyethylene, Tyvek® fabric offers a unique balance of breathability and barrier performance, resisting water-based liquids and fine particles down to 1 micron while allowing air and moisture vapor to pass through. This lightweight garment (under 180g) features a 3-piece hood for a secure fit, stitched external seams for enhanced durability, and elasticated wrists, ankles, and waist for reliable coverage. The ergonomic design includes a roomy crotch area for freedom of movement and a large zipper puller for easy donning and doffing. Certified to EU Regulation 2016/425, the Tyvek® 500 Xpert meets EN 14126 standards for infectious agent protection and EN 1073-2 for radioactive contamination shielding. Antistatically treated and silicone-free, it is ideal for pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, oil and gas, spray painting, and cleanroom operations.
